Ethan!
"Oh come on, just five minutes." Delilah whined from her position lying on the floor. Her and Ethan had been practicing for the last few hours without a break and she was exhausted. Why she ever agreed to train with someone more stubborn that she was, she would never know. All she wanted to do right now was nap. Or possibly eat something fried. Which apparently she wasn't allowed to do anymore because they were training.

She refused to admit she was out of shape after the virus and being hurt. But yet she was still staring at the ceiling trying to convince Ethan Jordan that a break was necessary. Ethan Jordan who hadn't dueled in ages had her winded again and now she remembered why she once hated him. They were rivals once for a reason.

She use to have no problem practicing hours on end, but now her ankle was starting to twinge, not that she would ever admit that either. It was hard enough asking for a break. "Five minutes, and then I'll stop taking it easy on you."

“You are doing everything backwards.” Delilah said automatically. She wasn’t trying to be harsh but it was true. You couldn’t just flip your wand into your other hand and be done with it. Their was technique. Every so often she would catch his stance reverting back to as if he was dueling right handed. It made complete sense, Delilah was certain during whatever sort of rehab Ethan had to go through, they were more focused on him being able to function with his left hand alone. Who would expect him to try dueling again and also think about trying to retrain his footing.

“But that’s not a bad thing.” She propped herself up on her elbows to look over to Ethan. Flitwick would probably cringe over her next words, because maintain a good stance was so beyond basic but, “The key is turning your disadvantages into advanatages. You can either spend the extra effort on fixing your stance to match the fact you are now left handed, or you can just leave it. You are using to much concentration right now trying to make it work.”

She shrugged her shoulders, turning her attention back to the ceiling. “Half the points you got against me were because I was to focused on how amature you looked. And then I was expecting the spells from a different angle. I think you should just work on being a left handed dueler with a right handed stance. Its unconventional, but we are a bit past convention, aren’t we?”
