Who: Drea and Tony
What: Post-game snuggles and chatter
When: After the July 27th Arrows match
Where: Tony's Place
It always felt difficult for
Andrea to unwind after a Quidditch match, even more so when the game was fast paced and exciting. It was her sixth snitch catch of the year, which felt bloody amazing. She thought back to where she was as a person only a year ago and it seemed so far away. Instead of binge parties and staying up until all hours, Drea was practicing and conditioning and “conditioning” with Tony. The last bit was probably a bit of her party girl peeking through, but that didn’t change the fact that she really enjoyed spending time with him in general, and with Cho. He was such a good father, and his daughter was so sweet natured and playful. It brought a smile to her face just thinking about it all.
Her mind was definitely going over all these things as she sat in the darkened living room of Tony’s flat, wanting to curl up and sleep in the soft light of an end table lamp as she attempted to relax. Because at the end of the day, Drea wasn’t sure where her feelings were stemming from; on the one hand, she was a notoriously playful flirt and it could be some of that (if you could call them relationships). Things felt tangible, and consistent, and
comfortable with Tony. And Drea very much liked that and yearned for that in her life, until she remembered that as far as the public was concerned, Drea was still single and flirting with unknown hunks in the shadows of Hogsmeade alleys. She recognized the gravity of the situation and why they had to hide things, but it didn’t make things any easier to handle when all she wanted to do was share with her friends and family that she was dating someone and she was
happy and felt like things were going so well in her life.
She heard the soft padding of socked feet on the wooden floors, approaching the living room. She shot a glance over the back of the couch, smiling at the sight of Tony, coming back from Cho’s room where he’d been trying to coax the young girl to sleep. She scooted over from her original sprawling location to give him room to sit next to her if he’d like. “How is she?” she asked softly, pulling her hair back into a loose, low ponytail to keep it out of the way for the moment.
