Open to....EVERYONE LMAO

This party had most certainly gotten out of hand.

Louis was not sure what had happened, or how, but he and Adian were quite suddenly overwhelmed by a sea of people they did not know save for the magazines and tabloids. Quidditch stars, besides Saoirse and her boyfriend (and teammates!) were sauntering through their flat! Wireless celebrities, friends from Hogwarts, people they did not recognize at all! Louis was at first startled, owling his sister for help (and to bring more dip!), but soon he was being patted on the back for throwing quite the bash and handed drink after drink in congratulations.

It may be the reason why he was seeing double, but Louis Bonaccord had traversed this crazy world! He could hold his liquor. Somewhat.

"You are Saoirse's friend!" he said, not the slightest hint of a slur as he spotted one of the few familiar people in the crowd. His wavering form gave up his intoxication, but at least he could speak clearly, "Mademoiselle Pepper!"

ooc: basically, Louis and Adian wanted a small get together on their roof, and the word spread that some quidditch players will be there and now they are basically throwing a rager lmao. If you can connect to Louis or Adian in some manner (six, seven, eight degrees, WHATEVER), then your character can be here LOL

Her prickly reception was amusing, and it was because of it that Michal's entertained smile stayed firmly on his lips. A single brow rose in response to her question, and he turned a bit more toward her to speak.

"Talking," he started slowly, as if it was the most surprising and scandalous of secrets. Michal wasn't completely unaware of who and what Arista Sykes was; he had spent the last year watching his friends valiantly attempt, and fail, at catching her attention outside of a subdued glare. He by no means thought himself the be the one to crack her icy exterior, but knowing what little he had collected from their stories couldn't hurt in helping obtain what knowledge he wanted from her, could it?

And if it all went to hell, at least he could say he enjoyed himself trying.

"And drinking?" Michal produced his hand with glass in tow, looking at it as if he had just noticed its presence. His eyes widened in mock shock. "At a party?" Leaning back on the side railing, he attempted his best flabbergasted face before breaking character with a full laugh.

Lips pressing together, Michal shook his head. "Is my lack of social vigilance offensive to you, Sykes?" He watched her curiously now, definitely interested in how she would react.

She resisted both the urge to bristle at his condescendingly familiar manner and frown at his apparent intent to settle in for conversation. In truth, she was feeling just needy enough—that is to say, consenting to humour his attentions—to not toss her drink in his face, sneer, or otherwise flounce away and effectively put an end to their conversation.

Though that would, of course, be the wisest, most mature thing to do.

But, and it was the deepest of secrets, Arista often had difficulty doing wise and mature things.

Particularly when those wise and mature things ended up diverting attention away from her.

Turning to face him fully, she arched her eyebrow in a frank study of him. She'd heard plenty about Michal Conway Lynch, and seen enough to know he was more than a handful. That didn't mean she wasn't just as much of a handful. "I'm sure plenty of things about you are offensive," she said in a tone that dripped sweetness.

"Why fuss over just one?"

He immediately emitted a low-pitched sizzling noise through his teeth. "Ouch," Michal let out, now crossing his arms over his chest and raising his shoulders to his neck in mock defense. Was that the famed bite of Pride of Portree's pride and joy? His lips puckered slightly, displaying his further sparked interest.

"What a wound." And then, because he had felt he'd experienced much worse, and had almost been expecting more from her, Michal let out another soft hum. No wonder his friends had had so much trouble with this elusive witch, having already proved herself quite feisty within mere minutes. In all honesty, he didn't think he would be able to fair much better than them, but, he supposed, he had a bit less to lose than them.

"I had no idea my mere presence before you could evoke such a response." He paused, for a moment, then added. "Or is it just this unrepressible atmosphere?" Michal wasn't quite sure he had met someone this age so unimpressed or disliking to a party since-- well, Howell.
