Open to....EVERYONE LMAO

This party had most certainly gotten out of hand.

Louis was not sure what had happened, or how, but he and Adian were quite suddenly overwhelmed by a sea of people they did not know save for the magazines and tabloids. Quidditch stars, besides Saoirse and her boyfriend (and teammates!) were sauntering through their flat! Wireless celebrities, friends from Hogwarts, people they did not recognize at all! Louis was at first startled, owling his sister for help (and to bring more dip!), but soon he was being patted on the back for throwing quite the bash and handed drink after drink in congratulations.

It may be the reason why he was seeing double, but Louis Bonaccord had traversed this crazy world! He could hold his liquor. Somewhat.

"You are Saoirse's friend!" he said, not the slightest hint of a slur as he spotted one of the few familiar people in the crowd. His wavering form gave up his intoxication, but at least he could speak clearly, "Mademoiselle Pepper!"

ooc: basically, Louis and Adian wanted a small get together on their roof, and the word spread that some quidditch players will be there and now they are basically throwing a rager lmao. If you can connect to Louis or Adian in some manner (six, seven, eight degrees, WHATEVER), then your character can be here LOL

She smiled, and nodded. Surprisingly yes, Glenda was enjoying herself for having so faithfully avoided social gatherings such as this over the past few years. While she had once enjoyed them immensely, centered her life around them even, they had... dulled in their intrigue and purpose after Gideon's death. Parties had gone from there not being enough people to there being too many to avoid... but it was getting better again, and even she could recognize flashes of her former self beginning to flicker through her exterior now and then.

Glenda also knew that she couldn't totally attribute the melting of her character purely to time. No, that was rather obvious as she took a sip from her drink, staring up happily at Vinny's face. Without the wizard standing before her, she knew she would be off in a far worser place, far more miserable and alone in the world. It was a pleasant surprise the way things turned out the way they did, and while this new status with Vinny still nerved her a bit, but it was in an excited and happy way.

"Yes," she continued to nod, bringing her drink (held in both hands) back up to take another sip. It was quite delicious, as was Vinny's usual high-set bar of drink choices. How, exactly, had he mastered that art?

Telling herself to bring that topic up later, Gleny shifted toward him until she eventually was resting half of her side and front against him. Pressing her glass between them, straw still between her lips, she looked up at Vinny innocently.

"It's cold," she spoke in a small, but entirely sly, voice. The pleased smile stayed firm on her lips, and Gleny pressed closer to his side still.

Her sweet expression in turn made him smile, which seemed to be the norm when the two were together. Just constant bouts of happiness that only seemed to occur when within the presence of Gleny. It had always been that way, Vinny mused as he nodded in agreement that it was indeed cold. She was one of his best friends (even silently he could not risk the chance of Derek hearing he may have competition or else result in injury to himself) and Gleny always knew what to do or say in every situation, good or bad.

Unfortunately, for the past few years, there had been more bad than good, but they were slowly creating more and more, small and sweet, good moments. Vinny was glad for it, he was excited by it, and he was desperate to keep it moving at the delicate pace it was because he couldn't see it going bad, so why rush such a thing?

His arm slipped around Glenda's shoulders, holding her to him discreetly, but close enough to feel her warmth. "Better?"

She let out a pleasant hum. Yes, infinitely better, she decided quite contently. While it was true Glenda also shared Vinny's thought on taking this, them, slowly, there was still room for the smallest of displays, wasn't there? Deciding not to think of it further and simply decide yes, she tilted her head to rest against his arm, and happily took in the warm feeling generating within her stemming from his simple hold on her.

"Much better," she nodded, looking up at him, eyes full. She tucked her arms close to her chest, hands only visible as they pinned her cup between them. Keeping them there also helped nip her sudden urges of wanting to reach up and hold his face for a couple quick kisses, which were not exactly good for keeping a budding relationship cool.
