Nora blinked a few times and gave her head a little shake; was something lodged in her ears? She looked to her shoulder and saw no bird and then her eyes were following Max as he promptly dropped to the ground. The peculiar behavior was not at all missed by Nora, but for a moment she refused to think that anything was going wrong at all. Just one more minute of thinking that this strange little scenario wasn't actually happening, and that they would be able to move on, or even go back to the hotel and decide what to do next. A few more seconds of thinking that since Ethan was spotted in this alleyway, that there could be some sort of hidden clue as to what had happened to their friends.
"Max, get up," Nora said, finally breaking away from her moment of needed silence. She walked up to Delilah, who looked rather dazed and confused, muttering about the invisible parakeet. Nora had known her best friend for far too long to not notice the rather glazed look in her eyes, and she promptly put her hand to Delilah's cheek, then forehead, "And you're burning up!"

If this was anything like home, there was probably only one magical hospital, and---she supposed they had a good chance of it being in Istanbul, but for a trio of people who barely spoke the language, finding it could prove to be difficult. Nora kept her hand on Delilah's face, either out of concern or she didn't notice she kept it there, and looked down at Max.
"And you? Do you have a fever too?" He was sitting on the floor, so she was sure he did.
