In all honesty,
Rose felt right miserable about attending this party train ride, as she did with most social outings occurring within the past week. But--- as much as she
wanted to disappear into the folds of Thomas' couch never to be seen again, she knew she--- had to at least try to act normal and do normal things. This had been, in theory, a vain attempt at not being a depressed hermit, but upon arrival, she realized it was all too soon and proceeded to continuously curse herself for ever thinking this was a good idea. So, here she was, feeling for the most part uncomfortable, and never in her life so diligent about time keeping (currently, there were only two hours left of enduring this self-inflicted torture).
Thomas had been kind enough to come along as well, who she had stayed close to for most of the night, but they had temporarily separated as she had wanted fresh air. After walking through a couple of cars, it became obvious that there was no outside connecter, and therefore she would not get what she was looking for. Letting out a sigh, Rose decided to try one more car before heading back.
Upon opening the door to the next car and stepping inside, she immediately slipped on some water on the floor. Luckily, she caught the wall before falling to the ground, but... wasn't that unsafe. Rose looked around, finding this very peculiar until spotting the water producer himself a bit ways up in action. Her face instantly paled.
Charlie,
Charlie that was Charlie--- feeling a great terror fill her, Rose closed her eyes and spun quickly on her heel to jet back from where she had come. While she really had... no idea if Octavius was even here tonight, she would not stay to find out. After everything she had done, the last thing she wanted to do was go against the one thing he had asked her from her upon their break up.
Rose ducked her head low, letting the beads from her head piece cover her eyesight as she walked back into the previous car, a quiet one with private sitting rooms. She paid no mind to them, however, and began to wring her hands with anxiety as she walked. Now
fully disappointed in herself for effectively making her and Thomas come to this stupid thing, she did not notice until it was too late when she bumped into another person. Too distracted, Rose did not immediately apologize, but instead looked up and--- her eyes widened, and a tight chill took over her body.
