Heidi!
Seth hated hated hospitals. Probably started around the time that he was trapped in a muggle hospital when he got shot. Turned out that he didn't like Mungo's much better. He picked at the bandages wrapped around his shoulder, wincing. The nurse had come in not long after he woke up and filled him in for the most part. He was apparently lucky that even still had his arm, it would take a while to heal and his nose was broken, but they fixed that relatively easily.

The frustrating part is that she wouldn't give him any information whatsoever on Henry. She just kept saying that the healers were still working and she would pass on any information as soon as she got it. So then he tried to get up and find out the information on his own, which ended with him getting confined to his bed.

It was easy for him to keep a calm facade over journal. It didn't involve actual talking and it was easy to get away with vague answers. But now Heidi was on her way here and she was most definitely going to demand answers and quite possibly punch him in the face. Which, honestly, Seth was quite sure he didn't deserve it.

The anxiety in her chest did not loosen any while Seth spoke -- in fact, it became worse and worse until she felt unpleasantly dizzy. Seth was obviously in no state to tell this story, why hadn't he just let the doctors contact her -- but oh, maybe they wouldn't have. As he went on, though, she started to clench her jaw.

"'These assholes' tried to take you 'somewhere'? You're telling me you didn't know them? That you didn't do something to make them dangerous to you?" No, this was definitely Seth's fault -- he was a celebrity and not the sort of celebrity that the majority of the crowd adored. "How could you let him get -- hurt!" She took another deep breath in and tried to stop herself from gasping, but with little luck. "Should? SHOULD? THAT IS NOT AN ENCOURAGING STATEMENT, SETH WADCOCK!"

"WILL BE! He will be!" Seth corrected quickly. "This is Mungo's."

He rested his head back on his pillow. "No I didn't know them. I didn't do anything! I was just defending-- I did--" Seth stumbled over his words. He could hear the blame in Heidi's voice. No matter what he said, in her eyes this would be his fault. "I did everything I could. Everything." He looked away swallowing thickly.

"The healer should be back soon. They've been giving me vague updates since I woke up. I'm sure he'll take you to him."

"That doesn't mean anything." She'd had people die here before, people close to her -- and the idea that it's just happening all over again makes her think that maybe it was her fault, somehow. She didn't dare to say that much out loud, though, and she just continued to shoot a glare at Seth. That was much easier.

"'Soon' had better actually be soon." She crossed her arms tightly and glanced toward the door. Waiting was always the worst part, really.
