The anxiety in her chest did not loosen any while Seth spoke -- in fact, it became worse and worse until she felt unpleasantly dizzy. Seth was obviously in no state to tell this story, why hadn't he just let the doctors contact her -- but oh, maybe they wouldn't have. As he went on, though, she started to clench her jaw.

"'These assholes' tried to take you 'somewhere'? You're telling me you didn't know them? That you didn't do something to make them dangerous to you?" No, this was definitely Seth's fault -- he was a celebrity and not the sort of celebrity that the majority of the crowd adored. "How could you let him get -- hurt!" She took another deep breath in and tried to stop herself from gasping, but with little luck. "Should? SHOULD? THAT IS NOT AN ENCOURAGING STATEMENT, SETH WADCOCK!"
