She opened her mouth to protest, but the sight of Fredrick checking the windows and looking absolutely paranoid was startling. It took a second, but her maternal instincts kicked in if he was locking things up, that meant he thought there could be trouble, and their children were asleep down the hall and----not again. They were not going to get attacked again, not with----Agatha pulled out her wand and forced herself to perform every last warding spell she could recall.
It took a few minutes, but every window and entrance to their home was secured. Hopefully. Agatha's panic had subsided enough to finally confront Fredrick, and ask,
"What the hell is going on?" Agatha couldn't help but tap her foot nervously; what could have her husband spooked enough to lock their entire house up?
