The sudden appearance of pink in her cheeks when she turned to look over at him made his smile get just a little broader, finding the way she blushed to be very endearing. The ego boost didn’t hurt either, but unlike his younger brother, Otto Bagman had never been the type to think he was God’s gift to the world. He had accepted that he was attractive, but never boasted about it. Still, it always felt nice when a pretty girl blushed at him.
He extended his hand out to give hers a shake as he officially introduced himself.
“Guilty. Guess that makes you Nora. Or is it Betty today?”
Another smile flashed across his features as he joked with her about her alter ego, dropping his hand down in order to slip that one, along with the other, into the pockets of his slacks. He was never comfortable in his work get up. He was the kind of guy who lived in jeans and t-shirts, not suits and ties. Still, he was as ‘casual’ as he was going to get, given the fact that he was on his lunch break and didn’t exactly have time to go home and change. Besides, he couldn’t remember the last time he had cared so much about what he was wearing. He couldn’t even remember the last time he had been out with a woman when it had been arranged. He hadn’t been on a date since Marissa…and that was back in Hogwarts.
She wasn’t the only one who was a little intimidated by the situation.
