Derek!
Not too surprisingly, Mira did not feel guilty about attending this Quidditch-related event. If it had been a couple of months ago, yes, she'd admit that being here would have made her feel on edge. However, that was then, and this was now. The now where she had friends here that were not because of him, and it felt like it was entirely possible she could enjoy herself without worrying too much about running into Seth.

She would not feel unwelcome because of him.

It didn't hurt that Derek was here, either. She had been pleasantly surprised when he'd mentioned that he would be coming, something Mira knew she should have realized in hindsight was more likely than her attending. Nonetheless, what they exactly were... it didn't bother her that it was unclear what they were. She just--- he made her feel relaxed, and she liked that feeling. And he was normal. Not to mention he was a sweet kisser. She enjoyed that too.

Regardless of all that, Mira first and foremost was here for her lovely date, Victoria. Not wanting her friend to feel like she had brought a poor date, Mira stayed with her for a good portion of the night, genuinely enjoying her friend's, who had been entirely too busy as of lately, presence. But after some time, they had drifted from each other, leaving time to wander. Which had lead her here, standing with Derek as they talked about Quidditch, the obvious theme of the night.

"My pick.... that one," she pointed, referring to their picks of which players had the highest proportion of celebrity to drunkenness. Whoever found the most famous and drunkest person won. It was proving to be a rather fun game.
