"Your captain sounds very--demanding," Samantha said with a laugh. If one of the goblins tried that on her, she would probably hex them into next week. Lucky for her, she was good at her job and the goblins only cared about the bottom line. Now, if she started nicking things and didn't keep honest, she could see Griphook hunting her down easily.
She faltered at his next statement. She knew it was a date in her mind but since neither of them had actually said it, she felt silly for thinking of it as one. But he just said that this was a date. She could feel a warm blush developing on her cheeks. Her lips were persed from nerves, but that didn't stop the smile that was spreading on her face. "Well, I'm glad that you make time," she said finally, her voice soft. "I--I like spending time with you."
She looked over at him before staring ahead. They were grown adults, why were they acting like gawky grade eight children?
