He was trying to figure out if it would be better to open the door and deal with Delilah, or fake that he wasn't home and have her hex down his door. Charlie knew that his sister wouldn't stop knocking, and he also knew that he didn't have the patience to keep quiet as she furiously knocked. So---if he could manage to just act like he was normal, and fine, and that he hadn't just had his heartbroken into a million pieces, then---yeah! He'd open the door.

From his position on the couch, because he actually had been sleeping and hadn't made it to the couch after this morning's practice, Charlie whipped his wand and unlocked the front door, even swinging it open for his sister.

"Say that again?" he said, because if he'd heard 'lost my duel' and 'good mood,' then he must be going deaf.
