e s t e l l a ([info]estellerina) wrote in [info]valesco,
Estella stood; maybe if she got up she could subconsciously get him to move toward the door and out of here. The more they sat here, the more she felt like the cameras and other celebrities were staring at Caden wondering why on earth he was with that stumpy woman. But Merlin's beard, she didn't feel like that when they were at home, but some of these women! They couldn't be real, they couldn't! Maybe it was because she knew Odette so personally, but her friend had never seemed so intimidating!

"And yet you still hate coming to these things," Estella said looking up with a smirk, "Maybe I've finally given in to your wall-flowery ways and would rather be ravishing you at home, since you look very handsome."

Yes...distract him with compliments and the promise of clothes-tearing sex. Estella was building up some nerve and began to go into a bit more detail about the plans she had for the night, when a photographer came up with a loud voice,

"What a lovely couple, smile?"

Estella tensed up and turned away, pretending there was something in her eye. Usually, as Caden had stated, she was the one trying to get him to pose (sometimes these photographers took really wonderful pictures! And the nice ones sent her copies!), but the last thing she wanted was to be photographed when she felt as wide as a hippopotamus.
