Estella had been so entranced at how that one Harpie could walk in those heels that she hadn't noticed Caden approaching. She jumped in her seat slightly, but immediately relaxed when she realized it was her husband and she turned to tilt her head up at him.
"But I know how much you love talking to reporters," she said with a grin, putting on of her hands on his, looking back at out the crowd. She felt silly for being so excited for coming, but how could she have known that she'd look so bloody frumpy? They hadn't been to a big event like this in ages, so maybe...she'd just forgotten that she wasn't in the shape she used to be. Or at least---augh. Getting back into shape after having one kid was doable, some people had been so impressed with how she'd gotten her figure back after Jacob, even though most of that had to do with not eating from her depression...right.
But two! Having two kids made the effort a little harder, and she'd stayed home for longer with Lizzy than she had with Jacob, and ugh her bangs were just strange looking to her now and how hard would it be to convince Caden to go home right now? It would probably be very easy, actually, and Estella squeezed his hand,
"Have you figured out the best escape route?"
