Thomas nodded vigorously at the idea of Regina's rather large teeth being kicked in. He immediately scolded himself silently, but wishing her harm wasn't a new thing to him. Neither was the guilt that washed over him afterward, but. He puffed his cheeks and crossed his arms, sinking deeper into the couch. His Ravenclaw logic told him that he was being stupid, and that the breakup was months ago, but there was so much more involved than that, people just didn't get it.
"No, even though I should go and tell her to shut her big mouth," Thomas snapped, letting out a long, warbled breath. Thomas couldn't even think of making a scene when it came to Regina, and he felt like such a coward for it but he'd dealt with so much to keep that woman happy. He'd loved her, he'd loved and probably still did love every stupid thing about her, even when his family hadn't trusted her since the beginning.
But she'd never done anything for him to mistrust, not until the end. Okay, she'd been a fan, but what was he supposed to do? Wait around for a female quidditch player so that they'd be in the same social circles? No, that----just because he'd met her like that----argh! Thomas couldn't believe that he still found himself defending her it was just---so----frustrating!
"I just---I can't understand how someone could have---such little respect! We were engaged," he blurted, his face flushing immediately. Outside of the family and a few close friends, the short-live engagement hadn't been common knowledge. It didn't have the chance to be, because that weekend Thomas had caught Regina in bed with a bloody Kestrel that will not be named at the moment.
