Okay, good. So she wasn't completely inept at these things because she'd had to take a little break from them.
She grinned and let him tug her easily enough, wondering just how often he came here if he was that familiar with the staff. Ah, well -- she didn't suppose it really mattered, all things considered. She wasn't here to decide on a bloke to marry, she was just here to have fun -- no matter how often she had to remind herself of that much.
"Not so bad," she said, moving in closer so that he could hear her over the din of the music and hopefully still see her despite the strobing lights. She didn't want to say that it was a bit loud, because that really did make her sound like she was some sort of old fogey. She'd adjust to it, she was sure.
They probably wouldn't be doing much talking at this rate, but that was likely for the best considering that so far she'd brought up one of her exes.
