Adrian shook his head from side to side in an excited manner, his smile growing larger by the second. Alright, now he was starting to feel the adrenaline pump through him, his body already anticipating what was about to happen in the next twenty minutes. It wasn't a nervous kind of adrenaline, but the good kind--- the kind that got him revved up for an important event, like a match or... proposing!
He could do this.
"Nope!" he replied, choosing to not only ignore Maggie's face, but her question as well. No time for that! No time to dwell at all! Adrian glanced down at his watch for a final time check-- and right on schedule. He quickly pushed his sleeve back over his watch, just in case Maggie had noticed the slip.
"No hints! Come on then," as Adrian spoke, he helped Maggie not only tie the blindfold, but also check it was secure. It really didn't matter too much if she could see out to her feet a little bit because it was dark out anyway, so it was more for show. With a bit of help for the few steps they had left to the door, Adrian guided Maggie, giving her only a few seconds to prepare side apparation.
See, he'd had it all figured out. He had found this particular hill during one of his many walks when he had first moved to Wales. It was close enough to the sea that there was a nice breeze, but far enough that the view was spectacular in the moonlight. All around he had (with help) decorated a little circular area with hovering and standing lanterns with big candles in them, illuminating what he felt to believe a very romantic atmosphere.
So--- Adrian gingerly lead Maggie over to the right spot, wordlessly letting go of her once she was in place. Now he just--- "Alright," he spoke in a steady tone, despite now feeling somewhat shaky on the inside. Good thing he had his knee down on the ground for support. The ring box felt heavy in his hand, though.
