His visit to Magpies Stadium did not end with the usual headache. Henry was silently pleased about his brother's efforts to stay out of the tabloids, especially since he was becoming involved with someone. Seth had shown he was far from capable of focusing on more than one thing at a time, so the fact that he was performing well on and off the field made Henry start to think that his brother was actually beginning to respect him as his agent.

Or this girl had him seriously whipped.

Either way, Henry was glad for it, and he pulled his scarf tighter around his neck as he headed toward the floo ports of the stadium. It was much easier than apparating across the bloody country, but there was usually a line of employees trying to get home that kept him there for a good half an hour before one opened for him. Fortunately he must have just missed the rush (or had beaten it) because there were only a few people waiting to catch the floo.

A woman on the next line looked terribly nervous, and Henry wouldn't have bothered to notice if he hadn't recognized her face from this morning's papers. She was the new Magpie---Cadwallader? Victoria. Henry had groaned at the sight of another pretty blond that was going to be running around his testosterone filled brother, but now he saw an opportunity. Maybe he could put her off of the idea of Seth before his brother had the chance to think about her in any other way---though with Seth's history, that was unlikely.

"Miss. Cadwallader?" Henry stepped off the line and mentally noted that he was going to have to push back his drinks with some other clients tonight. He stuck out his hand, "I'm Henry, Seth Wadcock's agent. Welcome to the Magpies."

She hadn't been expecting him to invite her to breakfast, but that seemed like what was happening at that moment. Victoria considered her options: go home and eat something that was probably going to end up being stale crackers, or go out with a not-so-bad looking gentleman for breakfast.

He seemed mostly interested in business, anyway. Surely it was harmless. She nodded, following him out of the line with a pleased grin. They were probably going to have pancakes, so this would turn out to be even more fortuitous. "You mean they actually put jersies out in restaurants here? At home it's mostly in the hunting lodges and a couple of the better-known pubs." In truth, she'd come in large part to see Vinny. It wasn't as if they had done anything at home, but she still wanted to make sure that he was -- all right, and her mother had been so proud that she'd been drafted into the bigger league that she hadn't been able to even think about saying no.

She resisted the urge to link arms with him as they walked out into the cold. "It's rather nice out here, you know."

"Oh, absolutely---spending more time in Montrose is one reason why Seth and I teamed up."

Henry would refrain from telling Victoria that he was practically bribed into taking the job, that no other agents wanted to deal with the mess his brother had created for himself. Adding to the fact that the Magpies administration had nearly doubled his usual signing salary, Henry really couldn't have said no.

Seth probably knew about all that, that Henry needed to be nearly bribed to take on the job, but what his brother didn't need to know was that---things weren't so terrible. He and Seth still weren't on the best of terms, but Henry could actually tolerate his brother. More like---he liked spending time with his niece, really, because she wasn't ridiculous like her father and she was family. He'd try to help her become quite the Slytherin, of course.

Victoria was quite nice; their talk during their short walk to the restaurant was nice and fast-paced. There wasn't a moment of awkward silence, but whether that was her nerves keeping her chattering or his mind being set into business mode, Henry wasn't sure. He pushed the doors of the restaurant opened and grinned immediately when he saw a waitress drop a tray of food at the sight of them---or, well, Victoria.

"Ah, see---" He pointed over the bar at the sparkling new display that was flashing images and facts about the Magpies' newest flier, "They already love you."

She was pretty sure that the other reason was because they were related, but he hadn't seemed keen to have that much brought up. She stepped into the restaurant after Henry and blinked when the waitress dropped her tray of food -- that was going to be an awful mess for her to clean up. Victoria shifted forward quickly to help her with the majority of the cleaning spells, then turned back to Henry.

Growing up with her mother and several messy siblings meant she'd learned to clean up after herself, and this was -- in a way -- her fault. She looked up at the rather large display and tried very hard not to look impressed. Sure, Quidditch was a big deal at home ... but liked she'd mentioned to Henry earlier, people tended to take their fanaticism to a personal level rather than a public one like this.

"I'm sure they're just excited for the team to have a new member," she managed with a slight ducking of her shoulders. She'd have to try and look more ... discreet, so that she didn't cause any more messes.
