Edward let out a feeble smile as he approached Graciela. The interview hadn't been that disastrous, in all honesty. Just that... there was room for improvement concerning her anxiety and speaking about herself. Specifically, he had noticed she had some difficulty when it came to talking about her family. Private matters were always uncomfortable to talk about to a complete stranger, let alone with the knowledge that your words would be posted for hundreds of eyes to see, so in the grander scheme of things it wasn't really all that bad. Graciela just needed practice, that was all.
"I think you did fine," Edward spoke, glad he could speak truthfully. Lying had never been one of his strong suits, so in this case it was settling to know Graciela would see he truly meant what he said. "You will get comfortable with it soon enough, and then everything will fall into place."
In fact, all of this was something that both of them would have to get comfortable with. Edward had been on book tours like this before, but never completely on his own in the sense that he was the first one in charge behind the scenes. So while he wasn't necessarily completely on his own, the trip running smoothly was totally in his hands. A terrifying but exciting fact, he supposed, once he finally got past the terrifying part. Which, by the by, still had not occurred, but Patrick had assured him it would.
