Rafe!
With a pointed look, Erin pushed in the quarters, pressed colors, and,

"VoilĂ ." Erin smiled though, because her own mother said that it wasn't real laundry, having buttons to push that told you what to do. But at the end of the day, her clothes were clean and they smelled nice, so, really? Erin didn't find a problem with it. "I suppose if you can't read, this would be a problem, but I think you're safe."

She gestured to Rafe's machine, knowing that all this muggle stuff may be a bit overwhelming (the pinball machine in the corner was making lots and lots of noise and flashing lights), but, well, she'd offered. And if she could teach a guy to do his own laundry (Will was such a pain, but he was getting there. Slowly.), then she'd done her good deed for the day. Adding onto the fact that doing laundry by herself was never much fun, especially when she didn't have a book or anything.

...augh, seriously. Laundry shouldn't be the highlight of her week. She was almost twenty-one, that was just sad, right? Merlin's beard.

"Go on, I promise it won't explode."

Erin let out a long breath through her nose, scrunching it lightly as he turned around. Well, fine. Her lack of filter was only making things awkward, so she might as well just shut up and finish his laundry. Standing and realizing she wasn't as woozy as she thought (oh, hell, she was saying all that stuff on her own, bleh), Erin crossed and smirked up greatly at Rafe.

"This one's for colors," she said, pointing to the one that read 'colors' and Erin leaned across the top of the washer to push it for him. Maybe this was why Devon still did his laundry, Rafe simply couldn't. Which was a lie, but he was too nice to force laundry on his sister, so maybe it was---well. She didn't know. Maybe he was just so nice that people offered to do it for him.

Or maybe he was just a silly boy who didn't know how to do his laundry. Erin turned around and leaned back against the washer which was now running behind her, half a grin on her face.

"Just don't open the door this time."

Rafe was mildly shocked when she stood up and he nearly protested when he heard her do so, but when he glance over his shoulder and saw that she wasn't wobbly like before he let it go. He watched her push the buttons but Rafe didn't actually look at the buttons as he murmured his "Mmmhmm". He was too distracted by...her smile, and her hair, and--oh he had to stop staring.

A small nervous smile spread on Rafe's face with a chuckle as he adverted his eyes downwards. "Yeah. I think I can manage that," he said with a slow nod. "But--" He sneaked another look at her.

Oy. Fuck it.

"You ever heard of people snogging in a laundromat before?"

Finally. No, no not finally, because she didn't come here for a snog, that was actually the thing she'd told herself to avoid thinking about. Because girls who wanted to go out with Rafe Kirke wanted one thing, and Erin didn't want to be one of those girls, because. She wasn't. She knew him, she liked him, she didn't think about dating him, but she had, and---

Erin smiled up at Rafe, because really, he was a lot taller than her, but then again most guys were. She looked him up and down a moment, as if truly contemplating, wondering if this was the right thing to do. Seriously? She'd only been flinging compliments at him for the past ten minutes.

"Well," Erin said with a sigh, as if it were a chore. Her fingers looped through the hoops of his jeans, "You are half naked already."
