erin b. kirke ([info]erinkirked) wrote in [info]valesco,
At first Erin sat back down on the chairs behind them, not willing to touch Rafe's clothing (okay, she could smell some of it from a good two meters away, honestly---), but then it got too much to bear, and he was threatening to just go out and buy a new wardrobe. Merlin, to have that kind of money.

"Oh, forget it," Erin said, standing and looking around the laundromat. The couple who had been at the end had loaded up their clothes a few minutes before, and they were the only to left. It was a bit late, which was when she liked to go, because she could, ah, cheat--Erin pulled out her wand, putting a finger to her lips to tease that it was a secret, and then she put her hand on Rafe's arm to push him back slightly as she pointed her wand at the pile of clothes.

With a quick swish, they began to sort themselves, a trick she'd developed after she too had grown weary of sorting one night.

"It's your first time," she said with a grin, leaning back against her own washer, which was currently doing her whites, "I figure a helping hand--spell, wouldn't hurt too much."
