"Hey now," he said softly brushing a tear off her cheek with his thumb, "Don't cry. We can work this out. I don't want you in a loveless marriage either. I won't force you to anything you don't want to." he got up and and knelt down in front of her taking her hand in his.
"Just take a deep breath. I know its a little late for this but lets just slow down and not worry about all the details right now. Just start with a date. Then we can spend time to get to know each other and see if we'll even get along." he put his best charming smile on his face looking up at her.
