Zach didn't really believe in hiding, not really, but he knew when he wasn't wanted somewhere. So after his probably-not-well-received owl and between working and keeping an eye on Bertram post-breaking up a rockstar's wedding, Zach hadn't really tried to get back in Brianna's good graces. There wasn't much else he could say until she got un-mad at him. Somehow.

But hiding while shopping in a babystore was something Zach did believe in, with a hat pulled down low over his forehead. He wasn't top news really, he didn't go out partying with the other models and do stupid shit like Bertram, but the last thing he wanted was Brianna's face to end up in a tabloid with the story splashed over it. So, he was currently standing in the middle of this store he called World Of Tots and Baby Things of All Sorts looking completely lost, even though he'd already been in there at least four times. The sales clerk had left him alone (finally - no he didn't know what he was looking for, no he didn't know what sex, no he wasn't interested in her number) staring at the wall of plastic tubs and mats and other baby-sized things.

He knew they didn't need clothes yet, mostly he wanted Brianna to help pick some of the stuff out (plus he wanted to know what they were having, so they could get the right kind) so he was looking at the practical things. He thought. The sign said Baths and Bassinets, and surely they would need some of those right?

Zach reached for the nearest baby tub, inspecting the inside and underneath, turning it over in his hands and looking quite perplexed by the whole deal. Why was it a bath when it was really just an odd plastic tub. "There's no faucets or anything, what is the point?"

Dedalus Diggle

Eliza
Dedalus really didn’t understand when it had happened…but after the initial panic that came from Eliza being pregnant, and them being so incredibly nervous and scared about it…they were now rather excited about Eliza being with child. Or, Dedalus was at least. Sure, he was still nervous and scared, but that was a natural reaction for anyone to have, when they knew that they were about to become parents.

Parents. Oy.

That was really the only time Dedalus would have his internal freak outs; when he thought about the fact that this kid would be calling him ‘Dad’, and that he would actually have a son. He was going to have a son! How bizarre was that? He went from thinking that he could never even get a girl to like him, to dating, to falling in love with a girl who was probably way too good for him, and now he was having a baby with said girl. It seemed as though everything happened very quickly, and there were still times when he was petrified about whether or not they were really doing the right thing, but…as soon as he saw Eliza, he was reassured that they were. No matter what happened, they would be going through it together. He had her to keep him stable, and sane, and she had him to do the same. They could get through anything, as long as they were together.

Pushing open the door to their flat, Dedalus placed down the bag that he had been holding, and greeted the dog that was currently bouncing around, jumping on his legs. Crouching down, he picked up the black and white pup, and scratched him behind his ears, walking through the rooms to look for Eliza. Once he spotted her, he smiled, the puppy squirming around in his arms, trying to lick at his face. “So…rumor has it that you were spotted roaming around the gift shop again today.” He chuckled, the dog once again trying to get to his face. “If you keep shopping from now until January, we’re not going to have any room to store everything. Our entire apartment is going to be filled with blue teddy bears and blankets.”

[Christopher!]
Juliana had a suspicion upon leaving the house this morning that she'd left the nanny dead of a heart attack, and this time it wasn't even because she'd left her infant at home while she went out to drink herself into a stupor. In fact, it was quite the opposite; this morning, Juliana Travers had left the house with her daughter; a first, she realized, in all three months of Mischa's existence.

It wasn't as if she wanted to be carrying around--or seen carrying around, for that matter--the little bundle of joy nestled awkwardly in her arms. However, this was an important enough occasion to warrant the uncomfortable traveling arrangements. It was Christopher's birthday, you see. And when it was your father's birthday, you were supposed to go wish him the joys of the day, correct? Especially if he hadn't had the balls to lay eyes on your face once since you'd been born. Why, in such circumstances, seeing one's daughter should have been the perfect birthday gift, right?

That was what Jules was certainly banking on as the knocked on the door of her cousin's flat. A sly grin couldn't help but to pull up on the corners of her mouth at the sound of rustling behind the door. This was going to be fantastic.
