"It's fine," he assured her. "It doesn't matter to me if you're in the mood to be teased, so long as I'm in the mood to do the teasing."
Perhaps this was a bit callous to say, after her aggravated ramble.
"Someone has it out for you? You wouldn't say that's being a bit dramatic?" he mused. "But then again, that is what you Gryffindors happen to be good at."
That probably didn't help much either.
"I'm willing to agree with you that your father is an arse."
It's a good thing they weren't friends. He flipped another page. "No, really, Conway. How on earth is this difficult for you?"
