"Well, that would be the sensible thing to do," he agreed, looking bored. Leaning back in his chair, he almost propped his feet up, but found that with Madame Pince so near to them, he did not quite dare. Instead, he settled for sliding her book over to him. "What's got your knickers in a twist today, Conway? You're not as fun to tease as usual."
Barty flipped the pages of the book she had had open on the table idly, completely disinterested in the subject. "Merlin, how does this confuse you? It's simple, really."
