molly • w e a s l e y ([info]molllywobbles) wrote in [info]valesco,
Molly wasn't flighty enough to hope that when she woke up in the morning, this would all be a dream. She was thankful for whoever slipped her the sleeping potion (she hadn't sleep that soundly since Hogwarts), but as she began to wake the events of the night before immediately came to mind. Her parents had been murdered, and it was You-Know-Who's doing.

She wasn't dumb, either. Molly immediately looked toward her brothers and their involvement with Dumbledore's secret coalition. When she had first found out about The Order, over a year ago, she had yelled and hit the boys so hard and loudly, she could not believe that they were going out there and fighting while not properly trained, there were aurors for that. There was no need for Fabian and Gideon to risk their lives when there were others willing to do it.

Now, though---even though it was most likely the reason behind her parents' deaths, Molly understood. She wanted to go out there herself and take down death eaters, or sabotage one of their devious plans, or just---something. She felt so useless; sure she was a mum, but what good was that when death eaters could barge down the door and kill every single one of her boys?

No, no--she wanted to do more.

"Morning," she muttered, twisting and sitting up. Molly feigned a smile at her husband, looking down at the food; she really didn't have the heart to tell him she had no appetite.
