She was more than able to stop herself from letting out a frightened sound, but that was not the case for the rest of her body's obvious reaction. Odette jumped as her shoulders scrunched up to her neck slightly, eyes closed for those few moments as the bang of skin to wood wavered through the air. That wasn't the reaction she had been expecting. Not at all, what she had said wasn't even that bad, obviously he didn't screw up on the pitch all the time, or else he would have been long gone by now.
Odette's jaw dropped as she looked at him, having nothing that she could think to say at that point. Seth went unchallenged as he spoke to her, which really was a first ever. Still stunned, she stumbled sideways as he pushed her away from him, eyes wide as he did so. Though once he touched her, it only took a few moments for Odette to snap out of her trance. Instinctively, she fiercely shrugged out of his grip and her eyes changed into two tight slits.
He was... insane. Like honestly insane. He wasn't allowed to touch her, she shouldn't let him who knew what else he was capable of? He had just been this close to actually-- Odette whipped around in her spot, her gaze following him. Well... what was she suppose to do now? Awkwardly she stood there for a few moments, her feet seemingly planted on the ground.
Well--- her mouth floundered for a few minutes, then finally Odette was able to produce words. "Fine--- I'm sorry," she stated, her eyes going up to the ceiling as her arms crossed over her chest. Just incase anyone every asked, apologizing actually was painful.
