Will pulled out of the fridge, pulling off the top of a pumpkin--muffin. At least that's what he assumed it to be. He was pretty sure that there hadn't been another vegetable---oh, oh excuse him. A pumpkin was a fruit, it was one of the most commonly confused fruits in society, didn't you know? Will did. Will knew everything about pumpkins. If someone came up with it, he would bet that Anneliese wasn't growing a baby in that belly of hers, but a pumpkin.
Which would be ridiculously hard to explain, but he wouldn't be too surprised.
"That's for you," he grumbled through the food in his mouth, gesturing toward the box on the table. It was supposed to be delivered a few days ago (more precisely, on Valentine's day), but seeing as he and his wife weren't on any sort of speaking terms, Will thought it best to keep her gift away from her. Because two could play the stubborn game. Will smirked and shut the fridge, eying Anneliese as if challenging her to the next move. He knew, deep down, that this was one of their...not so pleasant moments, but that in time they'd be back to normal. Sure, they'd have a baby in the house which was going to drive everyone mad, but--they would be normal soon.
He hoped. And prayed. But she didn't need to know that.
