Unable to do anything but stare after her husband's back suspiciously, she watched him cross the room and go to a less obtrusive place. This was not normal. Actually, this was downright scary. So thank goodness, Lily thought, when he opened his mouth and distracted her from her ever-growing fear that he was--dying or something.
