All right, perhaps Roderick Dearborn hadn't been able to take Aland to that wedding he'd wanted to go to, but he could at least come to this Halloween event for the other man ... even if it was something of a surprise.
He stood only mildly uncomfortably in his mask and scanned the room casually, lingering for the moment in the background like he was so very used to doing. While he didn't mind the shoes so much, the feathers on his mask were really starting to itch. The things he did for the people (person) he cared about. Hmph.
Honestly, getting the hair hadn't been easy. Aland had better be very pleased with him.
