HUFFLEFLUFF
Otto really didn't understand how he was related to Ludo, sometimes. With the girl drama, and the...well, every other kind of drama, he could swear that they weren't related at all. He was a person who tried to avoid conflict! Sure, he was a bit of a prankster but that didn't mean he got in trouble a lot. Well, most of the time he didn't. So how his younger brother seemed to attact trouble, he didn't know. But, because he was his brother, he tried to help him out the best he could, even if he seriously just couldn't understand why Ludo had such crappy luck when it came to girls. Not that he didn't have any girlfriends, but they always had baggage.

Currently, the older of the Bagman brothers was laying flopped out on his couch, his journal resting on the table beside him, waiting to see if Ludo would reply back to his last comment that he had written him. His hands were resting beneath his head as he stared at the ceiling, distracting himself by trying to figure out how that big dent had gotten there. Brows furrowed together as he tried to think back on what could have caused it, tilting his head to the side, as though this would help.

"...what the hell?"

His words were mumbled, since he didn't think anyone else was near enough to answer the rhetorical question. He just figured he'd verbalize his curiosity.

Marissa had been planning to come and visit Otto anyway, but with the drama that Ludo was causing ... she wanted to drop by a little sooner than she'd planned. She came up behind Otto and peered down at him (okay, so they looked upside down to each other, that wasn't what she'd been planning) with a smirk.

"Your brother dinnae get himself killed yet, did he? Because that would ruin all the fun we've got to start planning for him." Whether Otto knew about the plans to make Ludo's life miserable was debatable, but she hoped that he'd at least had some sort of prank in mind. She draped her arms over Otto's shoulder and slid down to her knees on the floor behind him so she could rest her chin against his shoulder. "Despite the fact you seem to have bigger problems." She pointed up to the dent on the roof. "What the hell?"

He flinched a little bit as Marissa came into view, only because he hadn't been expecting her until a little while later, and she had scared him by just...appearing. "No, not yet...and I'm going to get you a bell or something, so I know when you're here." He smirked up at her, tilting his head back a bit until she lowered herself down.

He only looked away from her as she noted the dent he had been looking at before, gesturing up at it with his hands, glad that she was confused about it as well. "I know! Well, I don't know what the hell, because I haven't the slightest idea how it got there...which is what what the hell really translates into." He heaved a heavy sigh, raising his hands up to hold into hers, lacing thier fingers together. "I really don't want to think about the dent...the dent is going to mock me. We're changing the subject...what were you saying about planning fun?" He looked over at her, a smirk moving across his features.

"The dent is going to ..." She trailed off and arched her brow at him. Fine, he didn't want to talk about the dent ... that was all right. She laughed, giving his hands a gentle squeeze. "But as far as fun, you know that Ludo is going to be absolutely sick of the play by the time he gets home, don't you?" She leaned in to kiss his cheek gently. "So I think what we have to do is obvious."

And if it wasn't, maybe he wasn't the man she thought he was. She licked her lips. "If you get me a bell, I'm going to feel like a bloody cat. Maybe you should just start to pay attention, smart guy."

His smirk turned into a smile as she mentioned the play. Ooooh, the play. The play was definetly going to be mocked. Sure, Otto had played the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and Marissa had played Glinda, but the only difference is they weren't completely humiliated by the play. If Ludo was proud of his role as Danny and didn't keep being embarrassed about it, he probably wouldn't be picking on him as much as he was going to.

"First of all, I don't appreciate the sarcasm in the phrase 'smart guy'..." he gave another smirk and turned his head to get a better look at her, looking rather devious. "And as for Ludo, I'm thinking...pleather. A lot of pleather. And memorization of lyrics." Now, he grinned. "And a lot hair gel."

Marissa slipped off of the floor and onto the arm of the couch, resting her hand in his hair. "And that would be different from a regular day ... how?" She smirked. All right, so neither of them indulged in pleather, but there was definitely a good share of hair gel between the two of them.

"Mm. But you know, it wouldn't be any fun if we were singing. We should definitely make it seem like it's part of the regular routine." Marissa toyed her fingers over the back of his neck and looked down to him.

"You haven't been working yourself too hard, have you?"

"Hey! I'll have you know that this?" he gestured to his hair. "All natural, baby." He flashed another smile before he went back to staring at the celing, listening to her as she spoke, trying to ignore the dent that kept drawing his attention. "Right. Make it seem like saying 'chang chang, changitty chang choo ah', or whatever they say, is completely normal."

He closed his eyes momentarily as she ran her fingers down his neck, only looking back up to her when she asked if he was working himself too hard. He couldn't help but furrow his brows a little bit. "Why, do I seem tense?" Well, he was tense, but not because of work. It was because he had been a little bit annoyed about the fact that Ludo had gotten himself into some sort of trouble, and Otto had to tell him how to handle it. Again.

He could only imagine what it would be like when the kid was older.

"Yes, yes. We all know that you have perfect hair. And as for being tense ... You only look like you're going to burst a blood vessel, love." She leaned down and kissed the top of his head, giving his shoulder a little squeeze. "I know your brother's a prat sometimes, Otto, but you know he means well. Mostly."

Marissa sighed. Yes, Ludo was a complete jackass most of the time. Perhaps he'd shape up when he got older - she could only hope. "So you can't let it get to you. We'll just have to get him back even worse once he comes home from Break. He'll never know what hit him. I'll ... even curl my hair." Which was going to take a while, but that was what curling potions were for.

He looked up at her as she went on about Ludo, trying not to groan as she mentioned how he 'means well'. Pushing himself into a seated position next to her at the edge of the couch. Letting out a heavy sigh, he turned to her and gave a half hearted smirk at her mention of curlers. "I appreciate the extra effort, babe. But it's just...I love him because he's my brother, but I want to just hit him, sometimes. Knock some sense into that thick head of his. And I don't mean just give him a good smack on the back of the head, because I've tried that, I mean like...punch him."

He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his thighs as he pressed his palms into his forhead. "He drives me crazy..." It was obvious that talking about the whole thing was just making him more annoyed, since his shoulders were tense and hunched. "Right now I'd rather think about the bloody dent."

"Mm," she agreed, turning so that she could tug him into resting against her on the arm of the couch. She brought her hands to his shoulders and perched her chin atop his head (even if it might've flattened his hair a little). If distraction was what Otto needed ... hell, she was better at that than most people. "Well, let's figure out that dent. I know you and I didn't make it - because as much as we shag, I think I'd remember denting the roof..." She smirked, "...so that just leaves your parents. You don't think they're that freaky, do you?"

Okay, probably not a great thing to bring up. She laughed and shook her head. "And how about this: I'll think of a reason to clock Ludo one over the break on behalf of both of us, all right?" Merlin knew he'd probably supply her with a reason anyway.
