Reminder!
This is just your reminder that the zombie/carnival/costume events are OVER. So there will be now new threads with those. Current active threads are a-okay though. You may now go back to whacking around heartless or nobodies ~~or off~~

Also if anyone has any more ideas for future events go ahead and comment here. Or ravage me in an IM you know how I like it.

On a final not I am doing a clean up with week. So anyone who hasn't been active in awhile is going to be booted. This cut goes by PLAYERS not characters. If you played with one of your characters recently you're safe. I don't care if you haven't used on in a month as long as you active on at least one of your claimed recently you're golden. (Though really when claiming try to use good judgment about how many you can handle this is an RP not a blog crew *admits to being just as guilty about this as the next person though*)

I talked about this with a few people, but I can't recall exactly who, on IM. One of them was Axelle.

Anyways, sometime during the winter vacation (since its Bowl season and people will have more time to be online) that's coming up Traverse Town should have a 5 on 5 football tournament in the Cross Roads Field. The Traverse Bowl, put on by Hiruma, Mamori, Suzuna, and Sena (the Eyeshield 21 residents here).

I'm willing to have Agatha build a few football clanks (robots that can play football, they might be a little over-powered knowing Agatha), so that people can make teams as they like with additional players if necessary. Of course we'd be adjusting the rules to suit a smaller teams and probably a smaller playing field. There might be a prizes, I don't know yet.

Just thought I'd put it out.

I think that could be a fun idea, but also we'll need to remember not every knows how to play football. (The muns not the characters) Also, like fight scenes, it can get a little complicated to play out at it's best so we'd have to decide if it were easier to do in messengers or in a thread.

Its cool. I put it out now because I think it would involve a great deal of organizing to pull off properly. One of the things I was going to do was have Mamori make an IC post of the rules for the event (that way everyone can know them). And a brief description of how game play would go.

I think this one might cater better to messaging, since people will kind of be doing things simultaneously. And there's the whole building teams of 5 aspect of it as well. That would take some time.

Though, it would be awesome if we had at least one team that completely disregarded the rules! *grin* And it would be perfectly IC for anyone except the Eyeshield characters to make a mistake and brake the rules on accident (mostly because they wouldn't be as familiar with them).

	Yeah like I was saying I like the idea, but you also gotta look at them for an organizational and playability stand point and sometimes being able to play sports games can get complicated especially with trying to accommodate 10 characters. Yeah the difference here being we would be setting this up as an organized game for people to play not an attack. It would also require people to know at least the basics of playing. (Which I know I know nothing of)

Is it possible to try to split it up even more to like 3 on 3 and see how many people we get and possibly like organize it as a tournament from there. Only because with like a sports game that the success will bank of people giving and taking well with each other less keeps it less confusing and frustrating for those involved.

Three on there would probably be more manageable. (I took 11 on 11 down to 5 on 5 kind arbitrarily). And was I hoping for a tournament organization structure. With maybe prizes at the end.

I'm still working on the rules of gameplay, but I'm aiming to keep it pretty simple. Maybe a tag football style so we don't have to worry about inculding as many injuries (because people will get hurt smashing into one another if we do it enough times).

Either way, I'm going to try and stick to the whole you get the ball across the score line by passing it to another person or running it. You can steal the ball and make it your team's and uh I'll figure something out about the turns (I think 4 downs isn't going to work, maybe just 2 downs).

	Yeah I was only thinking 3 because then for each team each game you're only banking on waiting on 6 people maximum being on to play and respond at any time than waiting on 10 people. If you're the one going to write up the rules and stuff for this then my only request is to try and keep it as simple as possible. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	What would be funny about that is most people here are from worlds where they don't celebrate Thanksgiving (or countries anyways, I know they don't really do it in Japan) but I think it would be awesome to do all the same. How about for Christmastime we have a Secret Santa? This way we don't have to go crazy getting gifts for everyone here, just worry about one. Well, not worry, but you know what I mean. And if you want to get gifts for more than one person, that would be fine.

Like say, Leon was to get Beast Boy as his secret Santa. Not only does he have to give Beast Boy a gift, but I'm sure he would want to get Claire and Dante something, and maybe Roxas and Nero. How does that sound?
