"You brought strawberries?" Dari didn't have too many feelings either way about chicken. She liked it well enough, of course, but it was nothing special. Strawberries, though? Those were her favorite. She preferred them on a plate of French Toast, but she loved them by themselves, too.

She nodded as he talked about getting away, hiking and camping. She understood all too well about things getting to be too much, even if his home life was really different from hers. Dari wasn't so into the hiking and camping things as she was lounging on a beach somewhere or going for a swim in her lake, but she definitely understood the sentiment behind what he was saying.

Dari smiled as she helped herself to a piece of chicken and took a bit. It was really pretty good and she had to admit this was a nice spot. A good place to relax and get away from things. She could see why Josh liked coming here.

"We have a wedding in August to go to, but aside from that I haven't really made any plans," she answered him once she'd chewed and swallowed her bit of chicken. Of course, she never knew when Jeremy might spontaneously whisk her away somewhere, but that was one of the perks of having Jeremy Pitt for a best friend. As of this moment, though, her summer was relatively free.
