 I want to get a tattoo really soon.  I was wondering how painful you think it might be.  Right now I can't access my photobucket, but in the top corner of this URL - http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/p.asp?WebPage_ID=337 is the symbol I want, but in black, no borders or anything.  On my lower back, off to the side, not the middle.  do you think it would look weird on my ribs?

I've had just about every part of me tattooed, except for my ribs. I have heard, it's the most painful area. If you get it on your back, it won't be bad. The only spot I've ever had trouble with, is that crevice in your elbow, when you straighten out your arm. That spot hurt like hell.

Have you considered the back of your neck, or shoulder blade? It looks like it would be small, and nice there. But if not, then off to the side on the back, is a good place for it.
