Hey guys! My name is Emily and I'm going to be playing James Potter here :D. So a little bit about me, I'm 17 years old and a junior in high school. I'm VERY active in my school but fortunately (for RPing anyway) all of that stuff is ending soon because it's the end of the year :D. I love dancing, I'm an assistant dance teacher at my studio this year which I really enjoy and I also love singing and acting :). That's about it I suppose xD.
Now, about James! I'm guessing you all already read my application, which is good because I don't have it up in his journal up yet (I don't really have ANYTHING up in his journal yet, opps :x) but I'll sum him up here. For starters, James is a seventh year Gryffindor, a "Quidditch hero", and yes, he does think that this makes him ruler of the universe. He's spent the last six years being a loud, arrogant, egotistical, yet generally well liked, berk. However, James's ego and general level of ass hole-ness has gone down A LOT this summer. His father died this past June and his death really humbled and matured James a great deal. Also, in regard to Mr. Potter's death, by now everyone will probably have heard about it, The Potters are pretty well known and his father used to be the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry way back when, so it would have been all over the Prophet.
James is trying not to think about it and not let it bother him, but he's changed whether he wants to admit it or not. However, it's not a bad change at all, on the contrary, James is a bit mellower than he used to be and by extension he's a lot nicer. Don't get me wrong, he's still a big goof ball who would rather mess around with his mates than do his homework, but he's more approachable and down to earth now which I imagine will come as a shock to most of your kiddos if they haven't seen him much over the summer. Also, James is the Head Boy now which is kind of, um, WEIRD, but he probably won't be that terrible at it because he has great leadership skills and whatnot. James isn't really sure how he feels about being named Head Boy now that he's gotten a chance to really think about it. On one hand he thinks it's going to be a pain in the arse and on the other he's like HELLO LILY IS HEAD GIRL! Over all James has a great albeit a wicked sense of humor. He's a good friend and very likeable (that is if he likes YOU and isn't a complete arse to you), and he's really good at Quidditch which is something he'll tell you ALL about if you let him. Whoops this is kinda long, I'm sorry xD, but James is my favorite character so I kind of tend to ramble about him :x. So yes! Friends, enemies, backstory, etc?
