Stewart was lying down flat in his four-poster, his fingers drumming on his bare arm, breathing deeply. There was, what? A good thirty minutes before he could even think about running off to the seventh floor and still have his dignity. He sighed and flipped his body over and spread himself across the bed, making small mummers as he sang along to muggle songs that he could only remember not listen to. Really it wouldn’t be asking too much to attempt to make a radio work here, or a CD player, or something. They were wizards after all! What was the hold up?

He let out another dramatic sigh as he jumped up into a sitting position and ruffled his hand through his hair. He’d thought of everything, right? Food from the kitchens stowed away in his bag, and they’d just have to think of somewhere to have their date when they got there. It was just… nerve wracking. Stewart wanted to scream or do something, because, this was all so new. He’d never been on a real date before, despite how far he’d been physically in a relationship, this was completely different. He actually liked Dean, and he felt a small thrill run through him as he thought about how much he actually did like him. And then he ruined his mood by thinking about Harper and how apparently, he was about to get his “butt kicked in”. God- he didn’t think they let people that stupid into Hogwarts, and then the fact that he said that Dean wasn’t good enough for him. Stewart grimaced and he put his fingers underneath his thighs and bit his lip, trying to keep himself occupied before he would make the big escape from the crowd heading to the Great Hall, and go to his… date.

He got up off his bed, ran his fingers through his hair once more, and started to make his way to the tapestry on the seventh floor. He wanted to get there early, it wasn’t too much to be punctual, and this really meant a lot to him.

The one day Morag felt in a somewhat good mood and some stupid prick had to go and ruin it for her. First Finch-Fletchley, throwing insults at her as if she didn't deserve any respect, then Summerby arguing non-stop about the most incredible nonsense she had ever heard (or well, read) in her life. And then there was the fact that she hadn't seen Katherine or Tracey at all as she entered the Great Hall for dinner, and she was left eating her meal by herself. How did a good day turn bad so quickly? Morag had no idea, but she was really looking forward for it to end. After dinner, she went back to the common room to get some work done before heading to bed, but the place was crowded and her room was, too, so her last and best option was obviously the Room of Requirement. Ever since Padma had told her about the place, back in 5th year, Morag had taken it to spend most of her free time there. She liked the solitude, the quietness and the fact that she could get anything she wanted from it. Just thinking about the Room made her feel a bit more relaxed.

As she neared the corridor that led to the Room, Morag heard a commotion and an awfully familiar voice screaming like a madman. She hurried her steps, curious about what was going on and managed to cross the hallway and double the corner in a flash. Her day simply got worse when she witnessed Samuel punching an already doubled over Stewart in the stomach. She had had enough of Harper, really - first fucking around with Dean, now hurting Stewart... what exactly was he playing out? And why in the bloody hell wasn't Stewart fighting back? Morag had her wand out in a moment, carefully aiming it at Samuel's back and firing off the first spell she could think of - a stinging hex. The loud yelp that came from Sam when it hit her satisfied her to no end, but she was far from done. She cast a levicorpus almost instantly and approached the floating boy, chuckling to herself for a job well done. "Not so tough now, are you, Harper?" Morag was enjoying this too much. Perhaps more than she should. With a quick wave of her wand, she made Samuel spin twice in the air before floating still, again. "Merlin, you're pathetic."
