Oh wow it hurt when he head Dean talking about fucking things up, because that’s all Stewart was worried about as well. Stewart just shook his head and smiled weakly, and then moved his hand so that he was moving his finger back and forth on Dean’s check. He just wanted to tell Dean he was sorry, that it wasn’t his fault at all. And then when Dean looked back at Stewart, nothing could really prepare him for the heartache that he felt. It was a good sort of heartache though, because he just wanted to kiss Dean and keep on going, but he couldn’t, and just looking at Dean was enough for right now.
The kiss was one of the best things in the world. It was something that was soft, and something that could say so much more than any rough passion filled kiss could. And Stewart just kept eye contact with Dean when he pulled away, and waited for him to finish talking. And when he heard the word boyfriend, he could have had a meltdown. His heart beat faster and he tried to not smile too much, because Dean just made him smile, being with Dean made him happy- a lot happier than he had been in a real long time. And just… Dean asking him this, and him blushing was too much. Stewart leaned forward and kissed Dean again, deeper this time, because they would wait of course, but kissing was kissing, and that was just what he needed right now. When Stewart pulled away, his fingers started twisting a small brown lock of Dean’s hair. He bit his lip and leaned forward so that he was holding on to dean tightly, and then whispered in his ear- “Of course, I’d love to.”, before putting his head in the crook of Dean’s neck.
