Who: Jack & Thomas
What: Jack needs some help with tutoring and Thomas helps.
When: The night they get back
Status: Closed/Complete
Rating: PG

Jack sat down at a table near the front of the library with a groan, dropping the mismatched pile of books and things on the table and relaxed, legs moving to stretch out in front of him as he raised his arms with a groan before dropping them down and beginning to try and get some sort of organization going before Thomas showed up. He hadn't exactly done a lot of homework over the break and what he had done had been minimal because he simply had not gotten it. And so everything he had was in one big pile and he had not clue where anything was.

He worked for a few moments before he settled back after a few moments, his arms moving to cross over his chest. He had everything in order and he was a bit early he knew, but it was better than being late to a study session. He felt bad enough asking for Thomas's time on the first night back from school. But the test was in a few days and nothing was comprehending and so he didn't know what else to do.

He rubbed the back of his head again before moving his hands to rub his face with a sigh. He dropped them after a few moments and relaxed against the back of the chair, tapping his foot absently as he waited for Thomas to arrive.

“Oh, you pansy.” Thomas teased, directing a face of mock disgust towards the other. “Has anyone mentioned you’re a terrible over actor? No? Well, you are.” Another laugh escaped him. He realized how fantastic it felt to be able to be around someone and not worry about what false judgement, despite all the flirting and teasing. It was a very welcome feeling indeed, though Thomas figured that exercising a little caution would still be advisable. The other’s play about his true love’s kiss was something he couldn’t let slide, however. With a pleased smile that promised good things in his lips, he placed the quill delicately back down on the wooden table, stood quietly and made his way towards Jackson’s seat. Taking the other’s cheeks in his hands, he smiled down at him. “I don’t know anyone actually. But I have heard my kisses have are quite notorious in the heart-melting gig.” With that said, he leaned in, pulled the other by their joined hands until his lips were pressed lightly over Jackson’s, the other’s lips even softer than he remembered. The other boy’s scent filled him as he experimentally moved his lips lightly over his, wondering distantly if he was taking this a bit too far. He pulled back in the slightest seconds after, opening his eyes to look at the other; he gave out a small laugh, gratifying the other one more chaste kiss before turning and moving back to his chair casually, as if nothing had happened. “Did it work? And let me just say that my developed chicken legs and thighs would make a better meal that that of a chicken’s.” He said in a tone of feigned seriousness, pulling his chair before reclaiming his seat, Jackson’s hand still warm against his own. “Ah this one’s clean?” he gave the other’s hand a light tug. “Well, I suppose that’s good to know. And, why? Are you ambidextrous?” Her sister was ambidextrous, and even though it sounded lame, meeting another one was pretty cool.

Of course the fact that it was almost too easy for them to just lean in and kiss each other did not go unnoticed by Thomas. They were so close that he could almost hear the other breathe, could feel his heartbeat against him. Still, it was something he wouldn’t wish to experiment on. Things were going so well, why ruin it? “Good. I don’t want you getting sick now, even if it was your fault for eating the evil candy.” He said, leaning back slightly towards Jackson’s hands, while his attentions were seemingly focused on the parchments before him. He was almost done anyway. “And no. Still no sympathy for you, love. You’re not both, and still you eat evil candy. Thing things you do to yourself, GOSH.” Were his teasing next words, before he leaned back a little more. He badly wanted to close his eyes and merely allow himself to get lost in the amazing sensations Jackson’s fingers brought him, but that would seem rather inappropriate, wouldn’t it? He looked at him sidelong and nodded. “I shall have it in by then, sir.”

Would he mind having another excuse to touch Jackson? Hell no. But Thomas did allow a few seconds to linger in the air between them, before he shrugged and said a calm “No, I suppose I wouldn’t mind.” Abandoning his parchments, wand and quill, Thomas leaned his elbows on the table and cradled Jackson’s hand in both of his before moving his thumbs over the palm, applying pressure on certain spots. “I always did this for my mother.” He announced. “She overworks them a lot in the apothecary, so she sort of needs the pampering in the afternoons, I suppose.” The other’s comment about the banana made him giggle. “Of course. Couldn’t think of any other banana myself, actually. Glad we’re on the same page!”
