Jack stuck out his tongue back at the other man and crossed his eyes before taking his face back to how it had been before with a smirk. “I’ll have you know that I am not melodramatic and I was deeply wounded, it’ll probably scar as well,” he said shaking his head as he looked over his arms as if he was expecting to see physical evidence of it. “And you’d tell me because I’d ask nicely because I like your chicken legs?” he asked looking at Thomas with puppy eyes before smirking and looking at his hands as he shrugged his shoulders. “We’ll they’ve been a lot of places really,” he said noddig his head. “Some of them were fun, and some not so much,” he said in the tone of voice that could be referring to anything. He noticed the use of my but didn’t read anything into it as he grinned and moved quickly again, getting out of his seat and moving to perch on the inch or so of seat that Thomas had left. “Yes Thom?” he asked turning his head as he braced his leg against the floor and wrapped an arm around the other man’s shoulders. “Well no smoking in the library,” he said shrugging his shoulders not really minding either way.
“Not even for poor old me?” he asked moving his head closer to Thomas’s as he raised an eyebrow, smiling slightly. “Please? I’ll show you mine if you show me yours,” he offered with a raised eyebrow. He moved a hand to ruffle the back of Thomas’s hair gently before moving his hand back to wrap around the other boy’s shoulders, holding him close, and helping to balance him as well. “A week is more than enough I think,” he said nodding his head before shrugging. “A type of horse, I dunno much about them.”
“He just is, his music is good and all, he just sort of gives me the heeby jeebes,” Jack said with a shudder. He watched as Thomas continued to work before moving. “My butt hurts,” he said ruffling the back of Thomas’s head and moving back to his own seat and shrugging. “I don’t know, would we make a good comedy act? I’m sure we’d make a good candy, I’m very sweet you know,” he said grinning widly at the other man before he shrugged his shoulders. He squeezed Thomas’s hand absently as he tugged the hand back slightly before nodding his head. “Not a problem babe,” he replied figuring if Thomas could use a term of endearment then so could he.
“Well then, I can think of a few interesting and creative ways of persuade you,” he said leaning forward, keeping his voice low. He bit his lip and grinned, looking around him before shrugging his shoulders. “I don’t know, what’s your opinion on whipped cream?” he asked tilting his head to the side. “Because if I get to see you in a mini skirt, well….” He said trailing off and shrugging a shoulder. “I’ve been told I make a mean Banana Split,” he said before gasping. “Oh really? Well it will keep you warm no doubt, don’t have much fat on those chicken legs,” he said nodding his head absently as he did so. He snorted before laughed at that statement. “Darling, that made no sense, regardless of context, all it made me think of was you admitting that you smell badly, which, as far as I’m concerned you’re not. You smell good.”
