Is there anyone else in the Chicagoland/Michiana area who got slammed in the storms/flooding? Our power still isn't back, so I'm hiding here at the big university up the street, haha, hugging the internet and the lamps and the heater. We were just wondering if anyone else has been affected and if your utility companies are giving you the runaround, too. Let's suffer together!

Not in your area but was also slammed with a huge snow storm! Over 2 feet of snow last night! Insanity.

Oh lovely. I had a snowball fight with our dog. The dog got stuck in a snowbank and then I fell in with her. Grr winter!!!

I LIVED on Kopps! The one in Glendale--I lived in Whitefish Bay (and on campus, DUH)!!

MY FLIGHT LEAVES IN ONE HOUR! I'll be back to Chi-town by the afternoon and then I'm gonna hit the five pm train home.

The answer is yes on the power, **no** on the heat. Ben and I are practically sitting in the fireplace right now.
