Things to consider:

1. Will the dismissal unquestioningly terminate a thread?
2. Will it have the effect of a very hard e-slap?
3. Will it leave the other character experiencing an odd cocktail of endless frustration, rage, and underlining awe that, maaaaaaaaaaaaan, that guy is a bitch, but he is so coooooool?
