George F. Weasley ([info]gredilicious) wrote in [info]occultus,
George was having a lovely chat with Tig, who didn't seem to mind the the ex-Slytherin he had in tow, near where her cousins band were putting the final tuning on their instruments. In fact after saying, "Hi, I'm Tiger-Lily, nice to meet you. You're really tall, you know that?" the little blonde Hufflepuff didn't seem to be bothered by Marcus at all. That was one thing George liked about Tig, she was very accepting of others, no questions asked.

He could tell there were others that didn't seem to know what to make of him and his 'date' but no one had started any fights or shouting matches. Maybe because they all saw how accepting Oliver had been that they were too afraid to upset the host if they said something. Well, whatever. The fact no one had bothered him yet allowed George to simply have a good time.

Suddenly, George's attention went to the back door. That unexplainable ability to just sense his Twin's presence kicking in. A little smirk appeared and George looked to his 'date' for the night. "Fred's here. Fireworks will start soon. I'm going to help him. What do you want to do?"

George hadn't left the Chaser's side since arriving but he really wanted to help his Twin with the fireworks. He wouldn't leave Marcus on his own though, if he didn't feel comfortable with George going off to play with fireworks then he would stay with the Slytherin.

Walking out to the back garden, George grinned at seeing his Twin. Fred was in his element entertaining others. His eyes followed the path of the rocket, lighting up a little at the resulting explosion. The crowd let out a collective gasp at the sight of the dragon and a cheer as it burst into sparkles.

While the crowd's attention was diverted, George flicked his wand toward a group of trees lining the edge of Oliver's property, setting off a chain reaction of little fireworks that burst into small rainbow birds which performed aerial feats on par with a professional flyers.
