Oz wasn't in the mood to make small talk with people, but that wasn't surprising. He never spoke much at work anyway or in general. He was better with people he knew, but at the Ministry, there weren't many of those. Unfortunately for him, the cafeteria was busier than it normally was of a morning, which meant Oz had to share a table.
Steering clear of the most crowded tables, he took a chair at one with only one other occupant. Adrian Pucey, his brain supplied, former Slytherin and Quidditch opponent. Still, it could have been worse. He could have been with the witch from his department who was overly tactile.
Nodding at the other man, he sipped his tea quietly, eyes scanning over the paper Pucey was avidly reading. He hadn't been at the festival, wasn't one for crowds, but he'd heard what had happened.
