The sudden light caused George to shut his eyes for a moment but he quickly reopened them and looked beyond the light to the man holding it. At seeing the frown, George started to mimic it, wondering whether Grumpy didn't want him there. Maybe it was a stupid idea to come here. Maybe he should have stayed at the club with whatshername. Maybe...
Aww, those fingers in his hair felt nice.
George nodded, half at the question, half to lean into the touch. "Passed apparation license... with distinction." He stated as an answer, smiling a little at seeing the concern in the other man's eyes. As if to prove he was fine, he stood up without the slightest hint of a wobble. "See fine. Although, you're welcome to check me over."
At the mention of bed George smirked a little, not cause he was sleepy but there were other reason why bed was so appealing. "There was a girl," he said, almost out of the blue. "Pretty thing. Could of had her right there on the dance floor." At that point he paused, free hand coming up to touch the part of his neck she nuzzled. "Didn't want her though."
He looked back up, not sure when his eyes had drifted down from the former Slytherin's face. "Have you met Jack?"
