It took a couple of moments for him to recover, but as he did he was careful to keep his weight off the smaller man. He didn’t want to crush him. Carefully disentangling himself from George’s limbs, he cast a quick cleaning spell before lying down beside the red head. Slipping an arm around his waist, he pulled him close against his chest, knowing the Gryffindor’s sleeping habits well. The covers fell over them, trapping their generated heat inside as they finally lay unmoving.

‘Definitely glad you weren’t a burglar,’ Marcus commented quietly, a teasing note in his voice. He would probably be tired and irritable in the morning, but if George could cope with that then he was fine having him stay. If he was honest, he wouldn’t have asked the Beater to leave anyway. Yep, there was definitely something there, which was making him act this way.
