The leaving feast had been horrible. Ollie had tried his best to keep her attention away from the Slytherin table, but he had failed miserably. Many times, Ashleigh had caught herself staring at her ex-boyfriend. The thought that she might never see him again had torn her apart inside, and she'd spent the bulk of the meal fighting tears. The constant hold Ollie had kept on her hand had been the only reason she hadn't rushed to Ed and told him everything.
Boarding the train had been a something of a bittersweet relief. She expected this to get a little easier when she wasn't forced to see her ex-boyfriend every day. At the same time, though, the thought of not seeing him daily made her sick to her stomach.
When the boy at her side asked how she was feeling, she gave him something of a look. "Nauseous," she answered.
Ashleigh wasn't sure if she was experiencing morning sickness or if it was something else entirely. Since she'd broken up with Ed, though, she'd been sick to her stomach every waking moment of the day.
"What about you?"
