Valentina Fontaine, deputy director of S.H.I.E.L.D., frowned as she read the report that recently crossed her desk.
It seemed Project Awakening’s first success was progressing in as normal a life as possible for a reawakened cryogenic subject. The monitoring agent, Robert Woolverton, expressed some concerns with Jenny’s new situation that needed to be addressed and possibly evaluated by Dr. Samson. A telepath on the new Excalibur team could ruin all the work they had done to create the Jenny Woolverton persona. She requested her assistant to bring in the files on the names that Agent Woolverton provided along with his impressions of each one. Joe Marko. Quinn Braddock. Tamara Blaire. Leech Maddicks. Casey Flynn.
Some very familiar names. She also asked for any available parents' files.
It brought up another issue that needed to be considered. With the second generation coming into their own and forming teams, including her own daughter, S.H.I.E.L.D. had to get a handle on it now. Liasions had worked well for the most part with the Avengers and the Fantastic Four in the past. It was time to officially recognize each new team, set up liaisons and form working relationships.
She drafted a memo to Nick and Dum Dum, along with a list of agents to consider for liaisons. The list would probably change once they had rosters and files, but it was a start.
