That was where Vincent had it wrong. This was going to be, likely, the only time Franklin ever stepped up to explain it. His face became very serious, and he stepped forward and reached out to put his hand on Vincent's shoulder.
"Kristoff isn't your only family here. My association, your problem is ours too, and that is why we're willing to help in any way we can. And it's also why we won't tell Kristoff something if you don't want us to."
Valeria considerd Vincent to be like a brother to her. And as much as Franklin didn't care to admit it, he felt just about the same. And this time, he wasn't going to ruin the moment with a witty remark.
