Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.

Christmas Day is a Christian holiday, it's true, but it also has become increasingly secular. It is an opportunity for love, charity, and goodwill.

There is some debate within mystical circles if there is indeed such a creature as the embodiment of Christmas Giving known as Santa Claus. But whether or not there is such a being, the spirit of giving itself is very real, be it incarnated in a fat man in a red suit or not.

Throughout this small blue planet of Earth, people have brought trees into their homes, decorated them with lights and ornaments, and placed them in locations of honor. Stockings have been placed on the chimneys. And gifts have been placed under the tree.

Some are looking forward more to the receiving than the giving. But for many, it is the act of giving which warms them, which fills them with the holiday spirit.

Each person, in their own way, becomes a part of this spirit of giving. Each person, in their own way, becomes Santa Claus.

1407 Graymalkin Lane is well decorated, and snow covers the grounds. A massive tree stands in the mansion's living room, and ribbons or pine line stairwells or the walls. As for the X-Men themselves...

	He had somewhat hoped Warren would understand exactly how many winged men Callisto had slept with. "Sir, genetically speaking, Gabriel is your son, conceived during Callisto's mind control. Lucas nods and sighs. "I'm sorry it took this long for you to have to find out. I know I'm probably not the best to break the news either, but I told both Gabriel and Lyta I would help any where and any way I could. Gabriel is trying to find out about his family. He doesn't have any expectations, but he is a nice man trying to find his way in the midst of a shock to his system too."

He sighs. "I know I'm young, sir, but as with the others tied up in the matter, if there's anything I can answer, or any way I can help, please don't hesitate to ask."

"I assume McCoy did the usual battery of tests?" Warren asked. It wouldn't be the first time a kid showed up claiming to be his to try to get money and it probably wouldn't be the last.

He looked at his daughter. "Yes, you should have told me when you found out. I'm disappointed that you didn't."

Warren rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Where is he so I can meet him?"

"After he discovered who he was, yes, he's been through the tests. Gabriel wanted to make sure as badly as anything." He eyes Warren thoughtfully. "He's not after money, and he's an adult, he's not after a dad either. But he would very much like to know about a side of his heritage he's never known, and be able to give his own son at least that. Please don't be upset with Lyta, sir. Its been rough on her and Gabriel both, especially learning the circumstances."

He sighs. "He's with his son for the holidays. Until he got through this introduction, he didn't want to bring a child here. He'll be back in a few days."
